Constellation Energy Retail Electricity Provider in Texas Achieves
Coveted New Ranking in First Year of Eligibility
StarTex Power, an acclaimed Constellation Energy retail electricity
provider in Texas, announced today that the greater Houston and South
Texas Better Business Bureau has upgraded the company's review rating
from an "A" to "A+."
This was the first year StarTex Power, which has been in business since
2004, was eligible to receive the coveted "A+" ranking.
"An "A+" ranking by the Better Business Bureau is a tremendous honor. To
be awarded this ranking during our first year of eligibility is an even
greater one. Customer care and delivering the Star Treatment to each of
our customers every day have been and always will be a core value of
StarTex Power," said Marcie Zlotnik, executive vice president, StarTex
Power. "We strive to do this by delivering exceptional customer care,
low rates and no surprises. This upgraded ranking by the BBB serves as
validation we are achieving that goal."
Better Business Bureau review ratings are awarded based on the following
grading elements: complaint history, type of business, time in business,
background information, honoring commitments to the BBB, licensing or
governmental actions, and advertising issues. Companies are assigned a
letter grade from "A+" to "F" or a company may receive an "NR" (no
rating). A company must be in business for eight years to be eligible
for the "A+" ranking.
"The credit must go to our incredible employees who, regardless of their
position or title, are committed to providing exceptional customer care
every day," Zlotnik said. "I am so proud of the entire StarTex Power
The "A+" ranking is the latest in a string of successes for the Texas
electricity company. In September 2011, StarTex Power placed 11th
in the Houston Business Journal's Fast 100. Earlier in the year, the
company became the first retail electric provider to win back-to-back
Pinnacle Awards from the Better Business Bureau and was ranked by the
Houston Business Journal as one of the best places to work in Houston.

NewEnergy retail arm also enjoys an "A+" rating from the Houston and
South Texas Better Business Bureau.
"We're thrilled that one of the newest members of the Constellation
family has joined the ranks of the Better Business Bureau's A+ team in
South Texas," said Kenny Matula, head of residential electric choice
