People with Special Needs

Transportation arrangements can be made for your evacuation if county officials are aware of your special needs. Inform your county emergency management office if you move or your special needs change.

Local authorities have plans to assist and care for people who are medically disabled or handicapped. Anyone who lives within 10 miles of the plant and has special needs should contact his or her county emergency management office NOW, by calling:

  • Calvert County 410-535-1600, ext 302
  • St. Mary’s County 301-475-8016
  • Dorchester County 410-228-1818

You can also fill out the form provided on this site or on the back of the Public Emergency Response Information booklet as soon as possible, so arrangements can be made. This information will be kept confidential.
