Radio Notification

Repeated emergency messages would tell you what to do. Also, police, fire departments, and other agencies help spread emergency instructions by mobile public address (PA) systems, bullhorns, and even knocking on doors. If you hear a siren, but no message is broadcast on the Emergency Alert System (EAS) radio within 30 minutes, it probably indicates a siren malfunction.
