Constellation Energy has been active in dry bulk shipping for many years. More recently, we have used our expertise in custom supply management and shipping to provide tailored ocean freight solutions to dry bulk users globally. Through our extensive experience in transporting coal and our management of a fleet of more than 40 vessels, we are able to provide dry bulk freight-users competitively-priced and flexible ocean freight solutions. We are able to manage these positions by leasing capesize and panamax dry bulk vessels on short, medium and long-term time charters. In addition, in 2007 we acquired a 50 percent ownership share of six dry bulk vessels with a combined carrying capacity of nearly 1 million metric deadweight tons. We are also among the largest traders of freight derivatives in the world.

We manage, trade, and operate our fleet from our London office and use Constellation Energy's global marketing network to provide our shipping customers with tailored freight solutions.
