As one of the largest US power and gas suppliers, Constellation Energy has a solid track record of providing tailored energy solutions to a wide range of customers, including power stations, municipalities, distribution utilities, and large end-users. Anticipating the demand for these products and services in Europe, Constellation Energy's Global Commodities Group established its European power and gas business in 2005 with the launch of its UK trading and origination platform. Since then, we have helped a number of UK based clients manage their energy commodity exposure through a variety of structured products, including tolling agreements, which incorporate physical delivery of coal and carbon credits with corresponding power off-take agreements.

In 2006, we initiated our continental Europe power and gas trading and origination operations. We are actively offering our risk management products and services in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and France, and we are currently expanding into Spain and Italy. Our European power and gas business capitalizes on Constellation Energy's strong presence in the international coal, shipping and carbon spaces to allow us to provide truly pan-European, cross-commodity execution capabilities.
