Constellation Energy (NYSE: CEG) today announced that its subsidiary, Constellation NewEnergy, will supply renewable electricity or "green power" to the Democratic National Convention on July 26 - 29 at the FleetCenter in Boston.
Electricity at the FleetCenter during the convention will be generated from a variety of renewable resources including wind, hydroelectric, biomass, and solar energy.
"Constellation NewEnergy is pleased by the opportunity to provide the renewable power supplying the FleetCenter and the Democratic National Convention," said Clem Palevich, president, Constellation NewEnergy.
