Improving our environmental impact management remains an important goal for our company. We recognize that our industry is resource intensive and produces emissions and waste streams that must be carefully managed. We are working to minimize our impacts on the environment, prevent pollution, preserve natural resources and promote energy efficiency.
Our Carbon Footprint
Since 1994 we have participated in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Voluntary Reporting of Greenhouse Gases program, measuring and reporting our annual greenhouse gas emissions from power production.

Environmental Community Partnerships
Our community outreach program is built on the premise that our financial resources and employee family can have a profound and positive effect on the world around us. In 2009, our company contributed to organizations through corporate contributions, employee giving and volunteerism. We concentrate our support on five areas of focus through which we believe we can make the greatest difference in improving quality of life: energy assistance, education, economic growth, the environment and employee involvement.
