Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Stations
While the majority of large vehicles in the U.S. run on diesel, price shifts in the diesel and CNG markets can make diesel-to-CNG conversions appealing to customers with fleets of vehicles. Especially for fleets of larger vehicles and those with local or regional service areas, conversions may provide substantial savings. Greater awareness of carbon emissions means that CNG’s relatively cleaner emissions profile also motivates customers to convert.
Compared to gasoline and diesel, CNG may provide cost savings, reduce fuel price uncertainty, and help achieve sustainability and emissions goals. Constellation’s CNG station solution includes design, deployment, operation, financing, and natural gas supply management. A Constellation CNG station build has no upfront capital expenditure; you pay a contracted gasoline-gallon-equivalent (GGE) rate with specified minimum usage. Constellation also works with customers interested in fleet conversion by leveraging our relationships with major manufacturers and local conversion providers.
