eCurv to Offer Constellation’s Efficiency Made Easy Program
September 23, 2015
CAMBRDIDGE, Mass. (Sept. 23, 2015 )— eCurv, Inc., a leading provider of demand management software services, announced today that it will offer Constellation’s Efficiency Made Easy (EME) program to commercial clients. The program provides customers the opportunity to fund the installation of eCurv’s QPAC (Queued Power Access) software as part of their Constellation electricity supply agreement.
“Our customers will save as soon as QPAC is active with no upfront capital costs through Constellation’s Efficiency Made Easy program”
Modeled after the digital queuing technology that has enabled the exponential growth in the service capacity of the Mobile Wireless and Information Technology sectors, eCurv’s QPAC service automatically queues the access of electric loads, such as HVAC systems, electric pumps, motors, battery charging, heating and refrigeration equipment, thereby avoiding expensive peak demand events.
“Our customers will save as soon as QPAC is active with no upfront capital costs through Constellation’s Efficiency Made Easy program,” said Edison Almeida, President and CEO of eCurv. “eCurv’s QPAC software service delivers up to 35 percent peak demand savings for our customers.”
As part of its Efficiency Made Easy program, Constellation commercial and industrial electricity supply customers are able to implement energy efficiency upgrades and other energy management solutions without up-front capital expenditures. The costs of these solutions are included over the term of a customer’s supply agreement. In most cases, customers realize an immediate savings on energy costs from reduced energy use.
