Ravi Ganti, Ph.D.
Senior Vice President, Portfolio Management and Strategy
Ganti leads Constellation’s portfolio management and strategy group which is responsible for fundamental analytics, portfolio management, pricing and structuring, product management, transmission analytics, quantitative analytics, and wholesale/retail integration. The group develops and oversees hedging strategies and product strategies for Exelon’s generation fleet and load obligations across its national portfolio.
Ganti previously served as senior vice president and chief commercial risk officer for Exelon Corporation. In that role he lead the risk management function for Constellation and was responsible for the identification, assessment and monitoring of market, credit and operational risks, and the communication of those risks to the Finance and Risk Committee of the Board of Directors.
Ganti joined Exelon in March, 2004 and has held positions in Quantitative Analytics, Finance, Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy. Prior to joining Exelon, Ganti held positions in management consulting specializing in supply chain management, software development and as a process engineer in pulp and paper and Oil and Gas industries.
Ganti obtained his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India and his Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA in 1995.
