About Our Refer A Friend Program

What is your Refer a Friend Program?

Our current residential electricity or natural gas supply customers in all states where we provide service, except for New York state, can qualify to earn a $50 Gift Card when they refer friends or family members who use the current customer’s referral code at sign-up, begin electricity or natural gas supply service with us. The friend or family member referred can also earn a $50 Gift Card as thanks for signing up for energy service with us. The rewards will be delivered via email.

To qualify to receive the referral reward, current customers (the "Referrer") that have an account with us in all states where we provide service, except for New York, must be current on all payments owed to us. New customers who have been referred to Constellation must (i) use their friend or family member’s Referral Code during sign up, (ii) successfully enroll for energy service in a minimum 12-month fixed rate electricity service agreement with Constellation. Constellation will reward Referrers through issuance of a Gift Card in the amount of $50 for each Qualified Referral, up to $575 per calendar year, once the referred friend becomes a new customer and meets reward qualifications stated above. Please allow 2-4 weeks following the completion of the Referral’s enrollment for processing and delivery of the $50 Gift Cards via email.

To get started, simply give your referral code or link to your friends and family and tell them what a great experience you’re having with us. You can find the referral code and easy-to-use referral link on your original Welcome email; or by signing in to myAccount, or by signing into My Constellation for Georgia and Texas customers. You will need to register for myAccount and/or My Constellation access the first time you visit. Are my friends going to get emails from Constellation? Are their emails safe?

Your friends will receive the referral request email, sent on your behalf, through our secure web page and email system if you choose to use it. Constellation will not sell your friends’ email addresses.

 

How The Program Works

How do my friends qualify to receive Refer a Friend rewards?

Your friend or family member must successfully enroll in a fixed-rate contract with a term of at least 12 months for a residence located within the areas we serve, except for New York, in order to qualify as a referral under the Refer a Friend program. You will not earn rewards for referred customers who sign up under our month-to-month plans or for a fixed-price term of less than 12 months. See where we serve customers.
 

Can I get a referral credit if I previously enrolled and referred my family members and friends, but they forgot to enter my referral code?

You and your friend (referral) have 7 days to provide your referral code in order to receive credit. Please contact our customer care team by phone at 1-877-997-9995 or email home@constellation.com.

About Your Reward

When will I receive my Gift Card?

Please allow 2-4 weeks for processing and delivery of your Gift Card via email, once the referred friend has been our customer. The gift card will arrive by email from Virtual Incentives/Virtual Rewards. To check the status of your card, please call our customer care team at 1-877-997-9995.
